4. Recently when I was in New York, I was looking for a book: The Lost Algonquin.
1. Who was it written by? Theodore Kazimiroff is the author of this book.
2. In less than 200 words what is this book about? This is about a lone Algonquin Indian in 1924, who lived quietly in Pelham Bay park, a wild and isolated corner of New York City. This is the gripping story of his bitter struggle, remarkable courage and constant quest for dignity and peace. By the 1840's, he was thirteen and alone in the world. During Civil War, Joe found that there was no place for him in this world, so he returned to his birth place. As he grew older he entrusted his legacy to the young boy Scout who became his only friend, and here that young boy passes it on to us.
3. Explain in 2 - 3 sentences why or why not you think it is appropriate for my 10 year old son? I believe that this book isn't appropriate for a 10 year old as I think it is to mature for the age gap. As this topic shows black people getting bashed and no one wants kids to think this is right.
4. You can buy the book on Barnes and Noble, Bookdepository.com, Amazon but the cheapest site to buy the book is by far, Barnes and Noble at a price of $10.94 winning by a good $7 or $8.
